Objective: I can compare decimals.

When zeros are added to the right of the decimal, the value of the number is not changed.

Example:
1.046 = 1.0460 = 1.04600 = 1.046000 …


To compare decimals, we compare the place values.

Step 1: Start at the left. Find the first place where the numbers are different.

Step 2: Compare the digits that are different.

Fill in all the gaps, then press "Check" to check your answers. Use the "Hint" button to get a free letter if an answer is giving you trouble. You can also click on the "[?]" button to get a clue. Note that you will lose points if you ask for hints or clues!
