Subtracting Lengths (km, m, cm, mm)

 

 

Objective: I know how to subtract lengths in metric mesurements..

 

Metric measurements of length are millimeter (mm), centimeter (cm), meter (m), kilometer (km).

Solve the following:

a) 5.5 m – 3.9 m = m

b) 5 cm – 2.7 mm = mm

c) 12 km – 3.2 m – 1.2 m = km m

d) 5 cm 7 mm – 4 cm 4 mm = cm mm

e) 5 m 6 cm – 3 m 9 cm = m cm

f) 9 km 60 m – 8 km 70 m = m
