Order of Operations - Parenthesis, Multiplication & Division

Objective: I know how to perform mixed operations with parenthesis, multiplication and division.

 

If the calculations involve a combination of parenthesis, multiplication and division then

Step 1: First, perform the operations within the parenthesis

Step 2: Next, perform multiplication and division from left to right.

e) 8 ÷ 2 × 3 ÷ (3 × 2) =

f) 12 × 5 ÷ 6 × 11 =

h) 18 ÷ 2 × 6 ÷ (27 ÷ 3) =

i) 12 × (12 ÷ 4) ÷ 2 =

j) 24 ÷ (2 × 4) × (45 ÷ 5) =

k) (12 × 10) ÷ (32 ÷ 4) × 3 =

l) 36 ÷ (3 × 4 ÷ 2) × (35 ÷ 5) =
